Gwyneddh's Mix for Jet Black Hair

| I have naturally dark brown
fine, curly
hair. It sun bleaches in the summer until some locks are dark blonde. I
dyed it black in high school until the PPD made me wheeze and I broke
out
in blisters after dye jobs.
My mom mixed 400g of 100% pure body art quality henna from Mehandi with lemon juice until it was about as thick as stirred up yogurt. She laid that into my hair, sectioning carefully, and got every last bit of hair totally slathered in henna. She covered that with plastic wrap and left that there for 2 hours, then I rinsed it out. That made my hair very dark auburn, and very soft. The curl was much looser and it was easy to comb (which is unusual for me!). Then Mom mixed 400g of indigo
from Mehandi
with water for 10 minutes. She got that into my hair, wrapped that in
plastic
wrap, and left it for about 45 minutes. The indigo kept
trying
to drip and run, leaving blueberry ripple ice cream looking trails, so
there was a lot of diving for towels to keep it mopped up. Indigo
stains towels dark blue!!!!! All the indigo on the skin
scrubbed
off in one go. I rinsed the indigo out of my hair. Once my
hair was dry, it was absolutely gorgeous! Glossy blue black, with
loose curls. Want to try stuff?
