Got a page up, and tried it myself.

I just put hot water in 100g of Amla, enough to make porridge. I let
that sit 15 minutes, and then sectioned my hair and applied it to the
roots, then smoothed it down my hair a ways. I rinsed it out after
about 10 minutes, starting by laying back in the tub to be an Amla
Swamp Creature, to loosen it up from my hair. It did a wonder for the
texture, enhanced the curl and wave like I haven't seen it in years!
I think it cooled the color of the hair where I applied it, but it
sure didn't dye anything. So, it curled up, but didn't dye. Looked
right lively!

I was more impressed with what the Amla did for my skin. I took a
handful and scrubbed my face .... lovely astringent, exfoliant,
anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant scrub without the usual chemicals,
colognes, and drying! I don't know how useful Amla is for hair, but I
LOVE what it did for my skin!

I've got Amla into the samples now ... I'd really recommend getting a
$1 sample and trying it as a facial scrub. NICE!

And I've got it for sale on mehandi.com shop ....
http://www.mehandi.com/shop/amla/ (yes, its not cheap ... sigh)
