Want a Medium to Dark Brown color .....

I posted a question a few weeks ago..and I very much appreciate the
responses. I am confused again, however, about whether or not I can
get a true brown color with only some red highlights. My hair is
naturally a medium to dark brown with reddish highlights in the sun,
and I simply want my natural color back. I have looked at the mix
page (and just about every single page on the site) and I am still
VERY nervous about doing this. I want to have shiny, healthy hair,
with more body to it... but I do not want to have red hair in order
to obtain this... is it really possible to get a medium to dark brown
shade with only some red highlights? The closest example that I saw
on the mix page was "Deb"... the picture looks great, but her
description sounds more red/auburn than brown...and I want the
reverse...
ANY ADVICE or IDEAS for me?
