and I had mine hennaed. It covered my little bits of grey to a warm
golden-reddish that blends nicely with the rest of my hair. I can
only tell a difference in color when I'm sitting in a window and the
sun is shining on it, but with natural red undertones, that isn't
that much of a difference. I really don't think you'll notice much
of a color difference with your hair as dark as it is, and, for me at
least, covering the greys made it all worth it!
