Hi everyone,
This is my first posting here, so I hope not to be too overly repetitive... ;)

I have been wanting to use henna mixed with other natural plant dyes in order to achieve a "Chestnut" color to my hair.

I read on this website that using "Henna mixed with Woad" can achieve this color... Of course my hairs original color (which is soft black mixed with dark brown) would make the final result of the haircolor to be a bit different.

Anyways... I wanted to know where I can get this "Woad" from? Or is it possible to use "Indigo" to get this chestnut shade depending on how much I use of it together with the henna?

I read on this site that 500g is what would be needed for waistlength hair, but, since my hair is very fine in texture am wondering if 500g may be too much since I don't have alot of hair strands.

Ok... I am wandering off in my questions... lol... so will stop for now. If anyone can answer my "Woad" and "Indigo" questions it would be appreciated as I am thinking of taking the henna plunge.

Take care everyone :)
