you might want to do strand tests with some added black walnut, some with cloves,some with some indigo. I use indigo in my mix, 50/50 and mine is a dark warm
brown ... but the first time I used henna and coffee and balack walnut and got a
bright orange. Even starting with dark hair. It was much too orange for my
complexion. so I would suggest fiddling with the mixes first if she doesn't want RED,
so that you don't get something very orange-red that turns her off henna totally.
