There is no way to get around the red of henna especially in the sun,
but mixing with indigo turns it more burgandy than orange tone,
especially important if your hair is on the lighter side of brown. I
would highly recommend ordering some indigo at the same time just in
case you need it and run some tests. Check out the mixes section.

If you don't have grey to worry about and just want conditioning you
might consider using the cassia and maybe mix it a bit of henna for a
slight color lift. If and when you have to cover grey 50/50 henna and
indigo gets you to a cooler dark brown with red highlights in the
sun.

Maria - I dont have any grey so that works for me! Thankyou for your
advice.. have you used Cassia Obovata before? To be honest my colour
at the moment doesnt overly bother me - I just want more shine,
strength and health in my hair. Is cassia really that amazing? I'm
definitely thinking of trying it.
