: Hi Jadie!
: Thanks for the info.
: As soon as I can, I'll try the "Mumtaz Al-aroosa" henna brand. I'm
: glad it worked well for you!
: And growing hair down to your bootie? Same here! (I think it's just
: so hot when the hair is long) hehe hehe
:
: Oh! I have a special recipe on how to speed up the rate at which
: your hair grows from the book "Alternative Cures" (by Bill Gotlieb)-
-
: it's an encyclopedia of 300 of America's top Doctors and Natural
: Healers, and in it, you can learn about the most effective Natural
: home remedies for 160 health problems.
:
: ok, ok, you might be thinking, "Health problems?"
: well, this recipe is a cure for hair loss in women (not that
neither
: of us have any!) but it works for that reason-it was made to
reverse
: hair loss (activate new hair growth--fast!), and in the book, the
: person who came up with the recipe was her own proof it works.
:
: Here's the recipe:
:
: Using a wooden or plastic (not aluminum) utensil, mix the following
: essential oils in a glass bowl: 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil, 3 drops
: of rosemary oil, 3 drops of lavender oil, 1 drop of lemon balm
: (melissa) oil, and 1 drop of Atlas cedarwood oil.
:
: 1 massage the mixture into your scalp with your fingertips. Leave
it
: on for 30 mins. or overnight, then
: 2 shampoo as usual, adding one drop of rosemary oil to each shampoo
: application.
: 3 as a final rinse, add one drop of lavender and one drop of
: rosemary oil to a quart of cool water and pour it over your head.
:
: The recipe is SO effective, this lady who had lost ALL the hair in
: her head (due to a sickness) had soft, new hair that soon thickened
: and darkened to the point she no longer needed a wig. (This hapened
: within 3 months, but keep in mind that she had a sickness and she
: was completely bald before).
:
: The oils work by improving circulation to the scalp (lavender),
: regualting the oils in it (jojoba) and cleansing it and nourishing
: the roots of the hair (all the other oils).
:
: I hope this recipe was useful to you.
:
: By the way, do you know where I can get Rhubarb root?
:
: Jade
:
:
:
: : I mix my henna with with lemon juice or just plain old vinegar.
I
: : also add some paprika and tumeric to acheive an auburn color. It
: : looks nice with my coloring as I'm fair with light freckles.
: :
: : Bluish red might look a little severe on me but I'm sure it is
: : lovely.
: :
: : I recently bought some body art henna from www.mehndiskinart.com
: and
: : bought the brand called "Mumtaz Al-aroosa henna". I used it
: without
: : adding the paprika and tumeric and it gave me a coppery color.
: I'm
: : very pleased with it and highly recommend this company.
: :
: : I'm working on growing my hair to my butt and it is just below my
: : bra strap now. I've found the henna has strengthened my hair and
: : seem to protect the ends as well.
: :
: : Take care, Jade

Hi there,
forgive me for butting in,I'm just interested in this massage oil
recipe. I'd love to stimulate fast regrowth as I lost so much hair
after my baby was born 13 months ago.

Have you tried it yourself? And just wondered, are you meant to do
this daily and for how long? Sounds interesting, I might be a guinea
pig and give it a go for a few weeks and see what happens.
