I know it's probably not ideal, but you can always have a salon strip
your hair of color (the chemically dyed portion) with a bleach
mixture and then once you've taken a week or two with lots and lots
of deep conditioning treatments, then begin your henna coverage.
although, I would suspect that henna over white and bleached hair
will be quite bright red for awhile, until you are able to build up
some henna layers. I know the henna on my dyed portions of brown
hair turned out quite bright compared to my natural roots, which are
more of a dark auburn. good luck
