could it be true? - a safe stripper?

Hello all,

I posted the other day about my hair dilemma (2 inches of gray/white
roots mixed with brown and the rest black, chemically dyed). I am
about to give up hope, I just don't have faith I can get an all over
nice color with henna from this starting point.

Anyway, I've been reading these postings and just found this on
another site. Someone said they used VO5 hot oil treatment and then
dish soap 2 days in a row and was able to remove black hair dye. If
this is true and safe (as it seems) I think I'd have a better starting
point for the henna plunge.

Anyone heard of this? Tried it? Or have any thoughts?

Also, I noticed there weren't any beauticians listed on the link for
them here - I thought maybe someone with experience could help me.
Any henna beauticians in PA?
