Henna for Hair

  Sharon's Mix

Well here we go.... left on for 2 and 1/2 hours (til I could not stand the wait any longer) and this is me now.

I have dirty blonde hair naturally and have colored it in the past with chemicals and YUCK.
This is my first try with REAL GOOD henna.

RECIPE:
100 grams Jamila Henna (exp Oct 2006)
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon course ground cloves
40 drops Teatree oil

Let set until nice black skin formed (on warm oven approx 2 hours)
Applied to hair, vaselined skin and used cotton strips around face.
Used plastic thin shower cap (disposable type)
Wrapped turban style in thick warm towel.
Let set 2 hrs 30 mins
Rinsed, washed and conditioned.

It is a nice color, it compliments my green eyes so nicely. I am looking forward to future henna treatments to deepen this red even more.
Lucille Ball knew what she was doing :)
