Lovehenna's Mix

| There are so many lovely ladies on your website who have been so helpful and very patient with answering my questions. The mixes page was also very helpful. Looking at the pictures and results was what gave me the courage to take the plunge a year ago. So, I wanted to contribute to your page, hoping it might help someone. Lovehenna’s Mix: I mixed henna, cassia, amla together. I prepared 50 grams of henna with a little bit of lemon juice in a plastic container and left it overnight for dye release. The next morning, I mixed 50 grams of cassia with warm water and added it to the henna mix in the container. I also microwaved 0.5 cup of amla and added that to the mix of henna and cassia. To turn the mix into a yoghurt consistency, I added a little bit of jojoba oil and warm water. I also added a little bit of lavender essential oil for the fragrance, but I don’t think that worked. I applied the mixture in the bathroom. It took about 15-20 minutes to apply it (I have short hair). I wrapped my hair in saran wrap and then wrapped it all in an old towel. I left it on for about 4 hours. I used generous amount of conditioner to get it all out.
