Henna for Hair

  Laveeta's Mix
Laveeta

Hi! I wanted to send you some pics of my henna'd hair. This way my first time, and I played around a bit. My hair is naturally dark brown, with light streaks in it.

My Mix:
150 g. of pakistan henna
8 tbsp of finely ground espresso
super black coffee
Disaronno amaretto
lemon juice

First I mixed the dry henna and espresso together. I boiled equal parts of extra dark coffee and amaretto together and added it to the henna mixture. Then I put in enough lemon juice to make it paste-like. I let it sit. Spent some time explaining to my hubby why so much espresso was missing...haha!

I applied to my hair, wrapped my head in saran wrap, and waited 2 hours before rinsing. WARNING: If you drive anywhere, remember to watch your speed! You will smell very much like amaretto, and don't want to be accused of drinking and driving!  A sobriety test with saran on your head is not fun.  My hair looks and smells great. When it gets wet, it has a nice coffee and  amaretto scent. I love it!

Well, thanks for letting me tell you about my lovely hair... I discovered your website and was so inspired! I love natural things and feel good about being nice to my hair.

Thanks again,

Laveeta
