Dafne's Mix
(with leftovers on Teemu!)

Dafne, with henna and indigo
| My natural hair color is dark
brown. Although I have used chemical dyes for many years (which I
stopped a year ago), no strange color transformations occurred after
henna use. I used 300 grams of henna powder purchased from the local herbalist, which I heated with some apple vinegar until the right consistency and tempetature. Then Teemu applied it to my hair using silicon gloves. We used a little of henna that remained on Teemu's hair to do some redish strands. We were a bit afraid to see the result but it came out really cool. Both of us kept it on the hair for about 4hours before rinsing off. Even after two months the color is still very strong and bright! Indigo: I used 200 grams of indigo powder on my hennaed hair. I prepared the same way I prepared the henna: I mixed up the indigo with some cider vinegar and boiling water. Then I waited for the mixture to become "indigo", applied it and rinsed off after 3 hours. My hair is softer and so shiny! Thank you Dafne ![]() Teemu, with henna streaks
