Henna on hair is a tradition in countries where pale hair was
"euuuuuuuuuuuuuu lower class powhite trash". The Vikings slaved out
light haired girls down the Russian river system into the Middle
East, who subsequently hennaed their hair to as dark as they could get
so they weren't quite so likely to get socially trounced. Just like
black women presetnly straighten their hair ......... Light haired
women were socially disposible low class.

Also, graying hair was a sign of waning fertility and was thus
anathema to any woman hoping to keep her huband's interst.

The fondness for pale hair is very recent ............. and very
"western euro" and "USA media obscession"
