removinf henna from hair

My 13 year old daughter has beautibul blond hair, she persuaded me to
let her try henna. It looked good until it stated to grow out. I
thought it is a tempotary hair color and it would wash out over time.
That's what the box said. It's not totally washing out and she has
blond roots. Is there any way to fade the color so it would blind
with her nautural color or the wash it out?
