No, I haven't used a condidtioner since I hennaed, I usually wash in
warm to hot water, I am NOT a cold water person!! LOL!! I wash scalp
and all my hair equally, always have, and I usually rub pretty hard,
always have because I've always had oily hair my entire life, so I
scrub pretty hard, plus if feels wonderful!! :) But, as I posted in
another spot, yesterday I did switch to Suave Honey & Milk shampoo and
this morning, for the first time in over a week my hair isn't
seperated and greasy looking. I may even be able to skip a day
washing it! So we'll see if this is a trend. The other shampoo I
used had panthenol in it, so I'm wondering if that is the cause? I
know it's good for processed hair, but now that the henna has coated
my hair shaft, it may be too much for it, so we'll see what happens
with more shampoos with the suave.

Peace,
Ginny

: I was going to ask, do you condition? also, when you wash your
: hair, do you only wash the scalp, and massage, but not fiercly rub?
: also, do you wash in lukewarm - cold water, not hot? all of these
: affect oil production. I switched to aubrey organics shampoo about
: a year ago - they are great, if you get tired of trying to make your
: own.
