Auburn hair and Indigo?

I have naturally cool toned medium brown hair. Well, about 5 inches
of it, anyway! The rest has been colored Auburn chemically. I know
Auburn has become a “catch all” color, but in my case I just wanted
to warm the cool tone slightly to a subtle Auburn. (I have a warm
skin tone, so my cool tone hair tends to make me look pale and almost
sick!) I am not looking for a drastic color difference, or too much
of a “fire” red. What would be most likely to give me these results?
I have been collecting as many of the suggested herbs as I can find,
and intended to try a lot of combos… but I thought perhaps someone
could save me some time…? Would Indigo help? It seems to give really
interesting toned down results on the Mixes page –anyone have any
ideas there?

Also, can I use indigo to dye jeans blue and black? If so, does
anyone have directions on this?
