Agree about Aveda

I worked for an Aveda concept salon for a grand total of 3 weeks as
an esthetician. I found their carrier formulations (the bases to
which fancy natural ingredients are added) to be substandard and
sometimes counterproductive. Most stylists I know agree about their
hair products: very, very drying and not worth the money. Aveda
products really did a number on my hair that took some babying to
recover from.

I did try the Madder Root as well. I do not see how the henna could
do anything in that product: it's not on long enough, there's not
enough of it in the product. The red you get from Madder Root is not
henna red, it's more like FDA food coloring red.

I believe the henna is just there for "label dressing."
