You can't tell sand just from feeling the powder.
Mix a little into paste .... then stir it in a ceramic bowl with a
metal spoon .... so the spoon rubs the paste up against the ceramic.
If you hear gritting ..... that's sand.

Frontier henna is from Egypt and the quality is mediocre at best. I
haven't heard anyone on this forum say much good about Avigel.
