I do not shampoo for atleast 2 days. I use conditioner and water, and
I have rinsed in vinegar water in between. actually I have rinsed in
beer and water too. it takes a couple of days for indigo to oxidize,
so I don't mess with it until it has darkened as much as it is going
to. I also sleep on a dark towel for a couple of nights to avoid
staining my pillow.
