henna and indigo

i am conducting an experiment on my hair with henna and indigo, and
would be grateful for any input. i hennaed over previously tri
colored chemical dye and bleach. i love the henna - even the effect
the henna has over all three colors!.... however, now that the
ingrowth is so long, i'd like to even out the once blonde, now orange
streaks and match it more closely to the beautiful chestnutty auburn
that is the rest of the hair. i am planning to indigo just
the "blonde/orange" sections, and henna the rest. i've never worked
with indigo. do i mix the indigo with my henna mix that i have left
over from last time, or do i indigo first, and then add the henna, or
henna first and add the indigo?????
