African-American hair and Cassia

Hi! I have a friend who is black and has semi-curly hair. She wants
to try Cassia for the conditioning. I told her I would love to put it
on her hair for her, and just happen to have some in my frig as we
speak, but...she chemically straightened her hair last week. Will
this be ok? I know you can Cassia over chemically dyed hair, but I
just wanted to check. Don't think you can go frog green with Cassia,
but she WILL most certainly injure me badly if I hurt her hair! lol
