How long does it last?

I want to dye my hair jet black using mehandis method. Once i do
this, how long will it last? I currently buy $10 packages of black
henna already premixed in the package. This usually seems to wash
out pretty quickly and doesnt go totally black because the indigo
and the henna are already mixed. i noticed it would cost me around
80-90 $ US to dye my hair black with the products on this site. are
they much better quality? will they last longer?
