Indigo molecules LOVE to bind with bast fibers, which are cotton
fibers. That's why your towel is stained until .... forever.
My daughter's hair is dark brown but she perfers black ... and indigo
pushes her hair to beautiful black. The henna really helps the
conditioning, and keeps the indigo from giving such a blue cast, as
well as making the hair silky (which indigo doesn't)
