If you henna over black hair time after time, you'll gradually buildup a deep auburn red shine that glows in the sunlight. Henna is not
like synthetic hair dye.
With the commercial techniques, you use chemicals to strip out the
color you have, then they get replaced with another color.
With henna, you're adding a translucent color to the color you've
already got.
