I don't think the paprika is like an exact science thing that needs to be just right. to
give you an indication, I've done a batch with 30g paprika to 100g henna, and I did't
see a difference with straight henna.

there's a group of things that people add to henna to tweak the colour that for me
really didn't do anything at all. paprika, beets, hibiscus - it may work for some, but it
doesn't work for me. in any case I don't think you have to worry about quantities or
when to add it - the effects of these things are very subtle at best.
