I just hennaed last night and as I was making a mess of the bathroom
and my arms were starting to ache trying to evenly apply it to the
back of my hair I thought I would gladly pay Carly to put it in for me.

It's my 6th time and I seem to make a bigger mess every time I do it.
You would think it would be the other way around. Just comfortable
carelessness I guess.

Foils for highlighting take a lot longer to apply than henna. I think
a few well placed advertisements targeted toward people that have a
problem with PPD would bring in customers. Lots of people wouldn't
want to be bothered with home application of anything and like the
pampering associated with the salon.

I think the wait and the rinse are the biggest obstacle for the salon.
The somewhat unpredicatable results and the initial "orange" of the
first application until oxidation could also cause problems. You'd
have to have a good education program to alter the instant box hair
dye expectations of the typical salon customer.

Freezing the mixed henna is a good idea.
