Would this be a good mix? (first time)

I'm hoping you experts can help a newbie; I've done a strand test,
but it's a bit hard to tell from gathered hair what the overall
effect will be. I have fine, not-very thick medium brown hair, bra-
strap length, which has been dyed reddish with Feria for years and
has become slightly lighter than natural, and pretty damaged at the
ends.

My current plan is cassia first to make the damaged bits less porous,
then paint straight lemon juice onto just the roots, for lightening
by sun or heat. Next day, 2/3 cassia and 1/3 henna with lemon juice
and strong chamomile tea, probably for a shorter time on that first
application, just in case. I'm aiming for something like Lily's hair
or the pale copper that Raina said she wanted to avoid -- the deep
reds are beautiful, but I'm not ready to go there just yet!

What do you think?
