My natural color is light brown, with 20-30% gray.I had permanent color change with the tint.
But I was using it every day for 5 months.
I guess it just depands on what color you have
to start with.
I had real good luck with the gray coverage.
You may have luck with black walnut.
You could just go with henna/indigo.
