I used body art quality henna on my mother's hair 1 month after her
last synthetic hair dye job .... and had no problem at all! The
disasterous reactions seem to come if you use anything OTHER than 100%
pure henna, and about the only way you can get that is to get body art
quality. There are all manner of adulterants in boxes of henna ...
