I didn't see anything in your list to negate the red of henna. Also,
you left it in for a short amount of time. I don't know how mild Paul
Mitchell shampoo is, but I usually don't shampoo the stuff out, I
just rinse and no shampoo for at least 24 hours. Leave out the
paprika. It only adds red. Use less water; oats wouldn't be necessary
(and oats may just soak soak up the henna and prevent it from
absorbing into your hair).

Use indigo a day or a week after henna. A prior post mentioned
indigo + amla powder applied a week after henna - after oxidizing the
user ended up with BLACK hair. I think her mix was amla mixed and
left overnight, then indigo mixed with water and dye-release, then
mix the two pastes together and apply for 30 minutes. Rinse off, wait
24-48 hours and see what develops.
