it.

Whatever is in it (I haven't a box at hand), I very much doubt that
it is pure indigo. On their red henna - I do have that - the
packaging states: Ingredients: henna. May also contain: indigo,
centaurea, rhubarb, lichen, litmus.

I think your problem has to do with the fact that, one, it really is
rubbishy stuff, and two, thirty minutes is nowhere near long enough.
Even their package says 'about an hour.' But to obtain the black you
want, I strongly suggest you read the directions elsewhere on this
site about how to do just that [look under the Mixes to see some
women with beautiful black hair]. Then, order some samples from
Catherine, try that, and see what you think - or just order your
stuff and go for it!
Incidentally, the only reason I have any Colora stashed in the
freezer at all is as dubious 'insurance,' should I ever run out of
body art henna in the dead of winter and a postal strike. Although I
used to use it [since it, LM, and sometimes Logrona, was and is all
one can find round here, and then after a considerable hunt], I
wouldn't willingly return to it after body art quality.I stress the
fact that I am no expert, so by all means get other views than mine,
but in the nonce, I'd say if you must use Colora, leave it on longer -
but try good henna and indigo soon, and I think you'll see a vast
difference. Good luck!
