From what I've read, there are ingredients you can add to cool the
orange tone down. Check out the various mixes from the home page to
see what additions can be used.

Often it takes numerous applications to get the tone you want; the
final color develops over time and the right mix. Also, it takes a
couple of days for the color to develop.

: Ok, i used body art quality henna for the first time last night. i
: mixed it up with lemon juice and paprika, left it to develop for 3
: hours, applied it and left it on for 5 hours, and the results are
: still orange! nice and shiny, well conditioned, "multi-faceted"
: orange, but orange nonetheless.
:
: it's not that bad, i quite like it, but i want to get some of these
: beautiful deep red shades that people seem to be getting in the
photos
: section.
:
: can anyone tell me where i am going wrong? should i be leaving it to
: develop for longer? should i leave it on for longer? should i be
: adding another secret ingredient to the witches brew?
:
: any help would be greatly appreciated, especially from anyone who
has
: managedto acheive a nice deep red colour over mid-dark brown hair!
