: Are you using indigo? Is this maybe old indigo that's lost it's
oomph? I would suggest
: getting fresh indigo from a reputable distributor ...
:
: : I have been hennaring my hair for about 15-17 years!! Yup a long
: : time. As I have very very grey hair....I use red henna first. Mix
it
: : up with tea, let the tea cool and then place it in the henna
powder,
: : let the colour sit, and after a few hours put it on my hair for
about
: : 2-3 hours. Then rinse it off and my hair is bright orange. So
next
: : step is I put the black henna paste on my hair and leave that on
for
: : about an hour. Had been doing this with wonderful results. Would
: : always get a deep burgundy colour on my hair. Now for the past 6
: : months or so, the black henna doesn't seem to take!! It's as if I
: : haven't put it on my hair. It does nothing. So I end up with
orange
: : hair which I don't want. Any suggestions on what I can do? I
would
: : really appreciate it.

Where can you suggest please buying good reputable indigo? I live in
Cyprus.
