No it does not seem to be permanent, but you do have to do things to
heal it. Apple cider vinegar does help. Use it 50/50 with distilled
water. Henna helps and I would think Cassia Obovata would help.
Also Biotin and other B vitamins will help. Look for little nubbies
on your scalp as these are the new hairs coming in. I don't believe
it is hopless, but it is a long road back. My sister's is not
coming in as fast as she would like, but a month ago it finally
stopped falling out. So this is still too new for her to tell yet.
I haven't talked to her in a while. I will call and post an
update. She lives in Ohio close to Catherine.

I just talked with her and yes it is coming back. She has little
hairs sticking up everywhere she says. There is hope.
