: I was just wondering since I have been reading about henna coming
: from different places having different tendencies (more red, more
: brown etc), where the Henna on Mehndi.com comes from?

There's far more variation from the skin the henna goes on, and the
different crops than the henna itself. Henna only has one dye
molecule, Lawsone, and .... but for proportions (which make a lot of
difference), its always the same little molecule. Can't change it
nowhow.

I don't see henna for sale on Mehdni.com .... Mehandi.com is my site.
Is that what you're asking about? I alternate between three sources,
all which give comparable results. Sometimes I use India, sometimes,
Yemen, sometimes Pakistan.

Sometimes good oranges are from California, sometimes Florida,
sometimes Spain. Depends on the crop and season.
