The last time I henna'ed I added several tablespoons of clove to the
mix. The scent lasted several days when my hair was dry, and when
wet, it smelled of clove for about a week and a half. I didn't have
any henna or hay smell. Also, I daily use an anti-frizz serum (like
Frizz Ease) and put a *drop* of a favorite oil into it to cover or
scent my hair in-between henna-ings. That might help until your next
henna.
