Potential scenario: anybody have any thoughts?

Hello all,

Please let me know what you think of the following directions. It's a
sort of combination of several different people's experiences posted
on this site. I plan to do this tomorrow or the day after, unless
anybody tells me STOP. :-)

50 g henna
50 g indigo
500 mL liquid (half lemon juice)
powdered cloves (unsure)
powdered pectin (3 sample quantity)

Boil and slightly cool 2/3 liquid, mix with henna, wait for dye
release (overnight)

Strain

Mix indigo with hot water, wait 30 min for dye release

Boil rest of liquid, add pectin, boil hard for 1 minute, mix into
henna, add cloves (?), add indigo, let stand 20 min

Put into carrot bag, apply, wait as long as possible, rinse.

I'm going for a black-purplish hue, or as close as I can get. I have
black-brown hair with some lighter streaks I'm trying to cover with
the indigo.

Any thoughts?
