Once you get your henna, I would definitely make a bunch of tests to
find the color you want. Before I did mine, I did 4 tests to fine
tune the color because I was adding cloves (over a week out and my
hair STILL smells wonderful, so much so that my 65 year old,
post-stroke father even asked what I'd done to make it smell so good!)
and coffee to the mix. I decided to skip the coffee and just go with
cloves after my experimentations. I would get some samples here from
Catherine and then just start testing. When you get the color you
want, that's your mix!
