you can certainly put all the paste into a plastic/ziploc (ziploc is
better) bag (provided you're not adding anything after the dye
releases) and set that on a white paper towel to see dye release.
If you mean when it's on your head, I get disposable plastic shower
caps. The kind that are really cheap, like a bag of 20 for $2, from
Sally's Beauty Supply and places like that work very well for me!
