Can you remove henna from hair??

I have been using henna for about 6 months for now, which is about 6
times. I have kinda gotten tired of having red hair and I would like
to lighten my hair which I can not do with henna and I consider
coloring with the commercial hair dye. But I am scared to do it on
the henna due to the results, so I am wondering if there is a way
of "stripping" henna?? I used the pure 100% lavsonia intermis.
