I just henna'd my mom's hair which has been dyed with commercialdyes for the last umpteen years, every 8 weeks or so. The last dye
she had was about 6-10 weeks before we henna'd it with no ill
effects (other than a bit of dryness on her top layer of hair which
had oxydized from her last coloring and bleached out quite a bit).
See "Danielle" in the mixes section. I used Catherine's henna and
indigo and I really feel that the quality of henna plays a role in
hour PPD-dyed hair will react to henna.
