My father is from a small fishing village just south of Naples. I
think I know the color of your hair as it is probably close to
mine. I have a soft black which becomes very dark brown towards the
ends. There are two things you can do. Either mix your henna and
indigo 50/50 (see the mixes sections for instructions. Look for
Tanya.) or henna first and then apply indigo after the henna is
rinsed out. See my post below with Anna for how I do it. This
gives me as close as I have ever gotten to my natural color.

Now as far as getting henna and indigo in Italy, well, I have the
impression that your can't. See Tanya (I think that is her name) in
the mixes section. She used henna and indigo. She could not get
good henna when she was in Italy if I recall correctly, but she did
come up with something. Also, you may have to look into importing
it. Ask Catherine about that. Seems like Pam F did import some
from India from the Indian supplier on this site, but I never could
get them to answer an inquire. Best bet is to talk to Catherine or
e-mail me by clicking on my name and I will see what I can come up
with.
