Oh Katherine, I just found out recently that you are better off not
to have oil in your hair or in your henna because it can weaken the
dying effect...so next time, you will probably have better results if
you lose the oil (although you may feel like you have the full sinai
desert thrown in with camel dung to boot on your head lol:)But the
color will probably take a lot better without the oil. I did my last
henna with coconut oil soaked into my head the night before and it
came out very vivid regardless (it leaves me to wonder what the
results would be without it then yikes!) But anyway, maybe it might
be better to try it next time without the oil. Though on the web
there are definitly conflicting opinions.
