Hi, Justmouse! A friend of mine uses the MDH brand and her hair comes
up the rich, dark red which you want; she has light to medium brown
roots [from what I can see - she gets excellent coverage], so on you
it might turn out lighter or brighter than you want, being more in
the blonde ranges. Harvest some hair from your brush and henna that
first, so you have no nasty surprises. The shine my friend gets is
gorgeous, and her color deepens beautifully with repeated
applications.I have noticed that the lengths of her hair, however,
show darker tones than the top of her head. Somewhere in here, among
Catherine's many contributions, it does show an instance of MDH
adulterated slightly with green dye, to make it look fresher, I don't
know if you have a concern about that. Good luck, and please let us
know how it turns out!
