Hi Catherine,
I just hennaed my moms hair using up the rest of the mountain light
medium brown we had. I added some walnut hull powder to the mix
knowing she didnt want her grey hair to turn orangey. Prior to this
she has been using that roux temporary hair tint that washes out in
one shampoo to cover her grey in the front. And about 6 weeks ago she
used a natural instincts which did nothing for her grey. Not only
that, her hair has been falling out ever since. I noticed when I was
applying the henna mix how irritated her scalp seemed, and on the
back of her neck she had a weird skin reaction when the henna mix
came into contact it immediately started turning red, then went
almost welty. Yet she felt no discomfort from it whatsoever. Anyway
we went ahead with the henna, left it on for 2 hours and it looks
very nice (though she needs a bit more on the front)
I just finished reading your report on the ppd and sure enough its in
the "natural instincts" I might add that around the time she used
that, she had a severe kidney infection which nearly killed her. I
dont know if this is coincidence or what but the whole thing has me
concerned. Is she safe to use the henna from now on? She wont be
using anymore chemicals thats for sure!
