: I have been using henna (natural mountain light)for a number of
: years and love it. (usually auburn, though more recently
mahogany.)
: I am now in Italy and bought some "black" and YIKES to me, thanks
: to this website, I think it must have been indigo. Although the
: color is really beautiful, it did not cover my greying "sideburns"
: (I started panicking so left it on for just 1/2 hour or so). Now I
: see I definitely prefer the other colors. I miss the red and
auburn
: tones in my hair. Do I need to grow this out, or can I layer
with
: the previous preparations once I get home? Will that cover the
: black!!!or at least make it more red? Any ideas? Thanks

Hi there,
I have absolutely no personal experience with indigo to go on,
however I have seen here on the boards that a lot of people find
indigo washing out really quickly (so if you loved the black you got
it would be sad, but good if you want to get it out!)
If you have the time to search the archives, I know there have been
people successful in covering unhappy indigo results with henna, and
it seems to do a pretty good job. Don't forget to give the "Light
Mountain" stuff a miss and go for body art quality (can be got
online, try the suppliers page) Hope this helps.
