Henna safe when blended with Indigo?

Hi Henna Explorers
I recently learned that Indigo is Alkaline and Henna is Acidic, so
I'm wondering if it is safe to blend them and use them together at
once...would it be like vinegar and baking soda and cause an
undesirable "frying" of the hair?
