This is a good question, and one I have asked already. I have the
same problem. Dark blonde to light brown hair with grey and not
wanting orange to too red. There must be something for us. I am
going to try Cassia Obervoto, but that doesn't color anything. I am
excited to try the conditioning aspect though. Yes, I am awaiting a
response to your question also. Nell

It looks like several posters have been trying to ask this question
: less directly, so I'll just come out and say it.
:
: What can we use besides henna and indigo to color our hair? Of
: course it should be readily available.
:
: I think I would prefer blonder, lt. brown colors to blend w/my
: natural brown.
:
: I am not fond of the very bright orange red I get w/henna on my
: gray. My gray hair takes the color too well! LOL! I have brown
: hair w/at least 40% white. Body art henna turns it red/orange.
: Light Mountain Natural brown shade are less bright, but still too
: orange for my taste. I mix w/coffee, terp w/lavender EO, mix
: w/pectin. Have alway gotten good dye release. Leave on 1- 2
hrs.
: Oddly, I get great gray coverage but don't have a problem w/skin
: staining.
